This summer I am offering a six-session trigonometry class. It will cover the basics of trigonometry and prepare students for future algebra 2/precalculus classes.
The class will meet once a week on Mondays at 6pm EST and will begin on the 26th of June. If you are interested but this time does not work for you please leave a note on the registration form. The class is $60.
Topics that will be covered include sine, cosine, tangent, cosecant, secant, cotangent; Pythagorean identities; opposite angle identities, the unit circle; and other topics as the time allows.
To make sure that you will be able to understand all of the material during the class, please make sure that you have learned about the following topics: manipulation of fractions, exponents and radicals, Cartesian Coordinate system, graphing of basic equations, factoring polynomials, solving systems of equations, triangles (types of triangles, basic theorems such as the sum of angles and Pythagorean theorem), and circles (area, circumference, radius).
